I am one of those people who needs music to work out about 95% of the time. It’s a make or break kind of situation. When you’re really feeling a good sweat, sometimes music is just background noise to everything else. And other times (those days where you have to drag yourself to the gym) music is the only thing moving you onto your next set.
I find most of my music through the apps Spotify or 8tracks. I like these apps because you can pick a playlist by genre or mood (i.e. workout, coffeeshop, afternoon acoustic, etc.) and save any tracks you discover along the way. Every once in a while I’ll look through my saved songs and add them to my collection. Here are my current faves that have made my workout playlist…
